Happy New Years riders!

Rider numbers have been low with the cooler temperatures so the access trails have remained in great shape.
As always thank you for supporting your local club.

The season in Blue River is progressing nicely. We have all three trailheads open the snow is stacking up! As most know the Foam access is not typically set until late December or mid January. We are working with Transmountain regarding access and when we have enough snow we are hoping to formally get the zone open.

We need a bit more snow in the valley to set the trail for the Fingers. Gaining formal access to the zone took a lot of collaboration and time (almost 3 years!) for the SledBlueRiver team. Your patience and importantly your support is greatly appreciated while we do our best to make the SBR experience the best it can be.

We have also spent a lot of time in the off season improving navigation options for our riders. We have just put up our geo referenced PDF for the zones. This is a great option and works very well to know when you are in the proper zone or flirting with the boundaries. You can download them from each sled area page. Open with app’s such as Avenza and you are set.

What a great start to the season.

Sledding deep,

SBR
