What a season we have been having. Great snow. Cooler temperatures to keep the great snow great and a solid trail systems to access all the adventurous fun. Thank you to everyone who visits our booths to say hello, check on safety/zone reports and of course to support the club. We have worked very hard to build and run a club that uses each and dollar as efficiently as possible. It is the only way we can make all this possible for you.
As you all know the pipeline is running through our town and even through some of our access points for trails. Sadly, we will not have access to Foam Creek this season due to heavy equipment operation on the Transmountain Right of Way. We are confident we will have access next season. In fact, we expect a few of the little issues we run into when putting in the trail will be addressed by Transmountain and the whole process could be much easier!
Be sure to review our new zone pages. We now have multiple mapping options as well. My favourite is the Geo Referenced PDF. We have included all the zone boundaries, provincial park boundaries, Section 58’s and the Caribou closures. The little blue dot will ensure you are riding responsibly and staying in the defined areas.
If you are out and about and run into our groomer (Chris) be sure to give him a wave or a chat if in the parking lot. He works tirelessly to keep our trails smooth. Up till the wee hours monitoring temperatures, checking forecasts, he is on it! Thank you so much Chris.
Huge thank you to all our sponsors who recognize the importance of supporting our Society. We can not thank you enough.
Be sure to check the sponsor page and support those that make this happen in anyway you can!
