Sled Blue River, BC

Just 90 km South of Valemount

SledBlueRiver was established in the early 1990s as a social club bringing local riders together to enjoy the deep snow and incredible backcountry. Since then the club has evolved and taken a strong leadership role for the development of recreational tourism in the Blue River area. We are a professional, organized and volunteer lead crew that are passionate about outdoor recreation and are focused on making Blue River a premier destination in British Columbia.

Sled Areas

With acres of alpine forests and meadows, the trails that meander through Blue River are enough to excite any snowmobiler. We have snowmobiling areas for every skill level.

Latest News

November 18, 2022

It’s mid-November, the snow is falling and moustaches are long. SledBlueRiver is working hard to get things set for the upcoming season. However, we do have some unfortunate news to report. There is active logging at both Red Sands and Finn Creek. We are working with the crews on mitigation strategies so do keep a close eye on our website’s zone pages for all the latest updates. We know this is not the optimal way to begin the season, but we do try and remind ourselves that the logging roads they are using are the very same roads that allow us to access the incredible zones Blue River. The season will still happen and the season will still be fantastic. Remember, we have 4 other zones to start the season. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
