Salmon Lakes

Area Overview

Salmon Lake could be considered our premier zone. Certainly it is one of our most popular zones and is considered by many to have some of the best riding in British Columbia. From high alpine to tight steep technical tree riding you can find just about anything you could want. Access to the zone can be challenging and not a guarantee for everyone. If you have not been there before we would recommend that you go with someone who has or a local guide.

Salmon is located in the North Columbia mountain range. Please check the Avalanche Canada Safety Report before you begin your day: North Columbia Avalanche Safety Report

Grooming

The trail system is groomed regularly as weather permits.

Wildlife Closures

The Salmon Lake zone is surrounded by Mountain Caribou habitat. Please respect the boundaries and report any signs of Caribou activity to info@sledblueriver.com.
