Ground Hog is reopened and we are happy to report that all is well.
Special thank you to Albert Venor (el prez) for helping to remove some downed trees along the trails. We appreciate the support!
Ground Hog East and West will be closed until further notice for search and rescue operations.
We will update you as soon as we are able. At this point our other zones remain open. As always…be safe and know your riding area.
With 37cm in the last 24 hours, 58cm in last 48 hours and 95cm over the last week everyone in Blue River is digging out from our first big storm!
We are told that the logging at Finn Creek is complete as of yesterday (I am waiting for final confirmation). As temperatures lower the groom team will be able to work on the trails. Please visit this page for all the latest updates.
We would like to thank everyone that has come to Blue River to ride over the past weekend! While the snow in the valley has not allowed for grooming, we felt the trails were in pretty good shape and the snow in the alpine has been fantastic so we opened the doors.
We have our groomers in place and the team is ready to go. With the cool weather and the potential for snow later in week we are hoping to get the trails groomed as soon as mother nature allows.
