SledBlueRiver

Thank you to everyone that is helping support your club during these tough weather times. After taking a run in the groomer in the warm snow I can attest to the challenges they go through when trying to keep the access trails in good shape when the snow so soft. It is not easy!

The past week has been tricky in Blue River and we appreciate your patience while we wait for the weather to turn. People have been great and helping as they can by purchasing our TOBE raffle tickets and our 50/50 draw. Lets keep that going! We are almost sold out of TOBE raffle tickets but the 50/50 can just keep on growing!

At this point we are working to maintain Red Sands but our other access trails have been defeated by the weather. We are expecting cooler temperatures this week and as we do get some snow we will certainly do our best to tackle the trails. For now please be patient.

The trail head team cannot make it snow or cool down what snow we do have!

We have a great base of snow. When the next storm cycles come through, and they will, Blue River will have the best riding in the province. I have little doubt about this.

Until then, know that we are doing all we can to ensure our trails hold on as long as possible. That does actually mean holding off on forcing a Snow Cat pass as that can in fact make things worse. Our groomers know what they are doing and are doing their best despite the nutty weather.

Snow Dance Please!
